Privacy Policy
Effective: August 15, 2026
whât ("we", "our") provides an anonymous, end-to-end-encrypted messaging and calling service. Privacy by design: we cannot read your messages, media, or calls.
Information we collect
Your account is anonymous — we do not require a phone number, an email address, or your name. We store only the minimal information needed to operate and secure the service:
- A randomly generated anonymous handle (e.g.
user-a3f2b1c0de). - A Firebase anonymous identifier and a device identifier, used for authentication and security.
- A push-notification token, used to deliver messages and calls.
End-to-end encryption
Messages, media, and voice calls are encrypted on your device. Our servers store only ciphertext and routing metadata and cannot decrypt your content. Media stored temporarily is purged after it is consumed or within 12 hours; messages expire after 7 days.
What we don't do
- We do not sell or share your personal data with anyone.
- We do not show ads, and we do not track you across apps or sites.
- We do not collect your location, contacts, or photos. Media and photos are only accessed when you explicitly attach them.
Payments
Subscriptions are processed by our payment provider under its own terms. We never receive or store your card or wallet details.
Your control
Delete Everything in the app permanently deletes your account and all associated data from our servers, for both sides of every chat. You may also request deletion at any time by contacting us.
